Free Spanish Courses

The courses are held on Monday and Wednesday mornings in the municipal offices of the Club Nàutic, Santa Eulalia.

This is the 7th edition of the activity and so far nearly 320 people have used the course to improve their language skills. The activity is so popular that it has been expanded with a “superior” level for those who already have a good basic knowledge of the language.

There are 3 levels available, from ‘starting’ to ‘average’ and then ‘superior’, each with a maximum of 30 students per class. The courses are supplemented by visits to municipal offices and shops in the area where students can practice and gain confidence in speaking the language.

The courses are intended to give the students ‘independence’ and the ability to communicate with ‘neighbors’ in spanish. The course gives the users the knowledge to deal with the administration and daily life on the island. The course can also be used as a ‘bridge’ for those who want to move on to the Catalan language.
